GET RIGHT 🫶🏾

Jesus Christ our Lord died a painful death on the cross for us, for our sins. (Matthew 27, Mark 15, Luke 23, John 19) You absolutely need to believe from your heart & be obedient to the things Jesus is asking of you.

What is the gospel?

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for our sins, was buried, and he was raised on the third day.

The gospel is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.

You can’t pick & choose how you inherit salvation. God calls you. Will you obey?

Follow God’s word, his instructions. You need to have faith “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭17‬ and also know “Without faith it is impossible to please God.” Hebrews 11:6 You need to believe from the heart, repent of your sins, confess that Jesus is Lord, and be baptized to receive the gift of the the Holy Spirit.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” Romans‬ ‭1‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”

It’s one thing to believe in God, but do you believe God & are you being obedient?

“But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.”

Check yourself, consider the consequences!

Live by faith.

Be saved, be blessed, repent, & stop sinning. “God is a rewarder to them that diligently seek him.” Hebrew 11:6

How Do You Blanch Vegetables?

Bring them to a rolling boil for one minute, remove from heat and give them a one minute ice bath.

Put them in a freezer bag, label, and store them in your freezer.

Pictured here are some greens that I blanched in November.

I also blanched and freeze a good amount of squash last year.

When you are ready to eat them just take them out to unthaw, season, and cook as usual.

What's Your Best Bread Recipe? (updated w/ directions)

First time making bread & it came out so good!!

A Simple Homemade Bread

Ingredients

• 2 tsp Active Dry Yeast

• 1 1/3 Cup Warm Water

• 2 tsp Brown Sugar

• 1 tsp Salt

• 1 Egg

• 3.5 Cups All-Purpose Flour

Makes 1 loaf of bread

Directions

1. Mix the warm water, the active dry yeast, & brown sugar in a large bowl. Stir together & then add the egg and some salt.

2. Add 1 cup at a time of the flour until it's firm. Take the dough out of the bowl & place on a floured countertop.

3. Now, you want to fold/blend around the dough. If the dough is really sticky to your hands add some more flour. Do this for like 5 mins.

4. Take your smooth rounded out dough and put it in a bowl. Cover this up with a clean dish rag, put in a warm place so it can rise for 1 hour. (The dough should double in size!)

5. After that, grease up a loaf pan. Shape the dough in the pan and allow it to rise in your loaf pan for another 30 mins.

6. Bake on 350 degrees in the over for about 30 mins.

7. Let it cool, slice, & enjoy! Oh, and make sure to share.
