Bring them to a rolling boil for one minute, remove from heat and give them a one minute ice bath.
Put them in a freezer bag, label, and store them in your freezer.
Pictured here are some greens that I blanched in November.
I also blanched and freeze a good amount of squash last year.
When you are ready to eat them just take them out to unthaw, season, and cook as usual.
